Herman Webster Mudgett, AKA Henry Howard Holmes (HH Holmes), is one of America's first noted serial killers.  He killed at least 27 women during the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. In addition to murder, Holmes enjoyed performing extreme forms of torture and mutilation on those he lured into his traps. He is perhaps best known for what would later be dubbed the  Murder Castle.

Dr. Jerrod Brown provides a fantastic overview of  HH Holmes, and offers further opportunities to learn more about this case and highlight themes that may be useful for today's Human Services professionals!
